Testimonial videos, brand awareness videos and company morale videos — everyone has one or more of these types of videos on their reel. But what makes all the videos from TheLadders.com is that were produced by a two person team — myself and Mike Castro — shot with two Canon 5Ds.
Just as I joined TheLadders.com as the head of creative, I watched a humorous video about some of the inside jokes at TheLadders at a company-wide meeting. I found out that a young guy in Customer Service had shot, wrote and edited the video in his spare time. I quickly transferred Mike Castro (the video guy) over to the creative group. Together, Mike and I shot, directed, wrote and edited over 12 videos for TheLadders in one year.
